Korean folk art presents stories of people's desires for happiness in life.  It beautifully expresses longevity, health, prosperity, and virtue of life with somewhat defined patterns.  It's subjects are symbolic, and vary  from flowers,

animals, landscapes, religious items, and daily living activities.  Examples are flowers for prosperity, peaches and turtles for longevity, tigers and dragons for power and protection etc..  Some of my folk artwork are contemporary, and others on traditional patterns.
